I've eaten at both locations of Jose's and the food was crap both times. The bathroom at the Dickson location was the nastiest I've ever seen on Dickson, too. Great location, but a shithole when I was there.
Is El Camino Real still around? Ate at the place pretty regularly when I lived there.

At a minimum they need to remodel that front portion into primarily a bar, and open it up more to the patio. Yeah, their mensroom is worse than Rogers Rec, which is saying something.

but is it worse than Grub's?
IMO that's the shite standard of bar restrooms in Fayetteville.

Is that coffee?
Lynn's brew is not coffee, just get some as an appetizer for your favorite Cajun dish.

Damn, Jose's closed.
What are some of the newer places (restaurants) on Dickson? By newer I mean within the past 4 years or so. I need to get out to some of those places.
I love this thread, we can talk without corn dogs, Gumps, et al.

To agree with what everyone else has said Jose's food was shite but margarita Wednesday or Thursday was a good time. My favorite place in Fayetteville I think was still Pesto though Cafe was legit (gator po boy was soooo good). Usual I was a poor student though and could only afford Viejo or La Huerta

Did Oseguera's close or was it just a name change? Used to eat there when they were located in Evelyn Hills.

Hines. Weird somebody else besides Ford in the #9 jersey, Ford has been wearing that thing for 34 years at Arkansas.

I'm pretty sure it is family owned and there was a split within the family. Now it's Celi's but I'm not sure if Oseguera's still exists. Same menu though, thank god.

Columbia Mex >>>>>>> every other Mexican place in Fayetteville
For those of you in central Arkansas, give Taqueria y Carniceria Guadalajara a shot. It's on Camp Robinson Road just north of the Levy exit. It's a lot like Columbia Mex. Their $3.99 burritos are huge (bigger than both of my fists) and come with meat of choice (six options), refried beans, tomato, avocado, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. They've got two sauces on the table that are both excellent and I recommend dumping a shite load of it on the burritos or whatever you eat. We always ask for limes and they bring us an entire bowl of cut key limes. They also sell beer and I've seen a lot of the hispanic clientele dumping hot sauce in their Bud Lights.
Like Columbia Mex, there is a butcher and small grocery in the same building so you can go for a meal, buy some fresh cuts of meat and whatever fixins you want, and get a case of beer in one stop. If only they sold tequila

is this not another one of those secondary violations? I thought we got one last year for letting them wear jersey's.
