I told you guys that some coaches prefer to have all their fireworks on NSD. You could see this florida NSD haul coming from a mile away and people still acted like he was going to fail this year in recruiting.

It's certainly better than Ole Miss' class, but it's still the third ranked class in the state of Florida, behind FSU and Miami. I can't imagine Gators are pleased with that, but it's a good class. Still, I'm kinda surprised when UF doesn't finish top 10 considering their resources and in-state talent pool

Could still sign a couple more guys today. Also won 7 of 9 recruiting battles with Miami.

We lost every major battle against Bama this year. FSU is going to kick our teeth in until we can recruit better.

I would be livid with this class if I was a UF fan.

why is that?

They're coming off back to back east titles and yet have a 14th ranked class with zero 5*

It's not the worst class ever or anything silly like that, but I mean you're acting like they're knocking on the door of a top 5 class

It's an OK class but unspectacular.

We're going to finish with about 22 commits and 3 of them are kind of Plan C/Plan D reaches. It's hard to figure how we couldn't find 25 quality prospects to fill the class.

We whiffed on every elite 5-star prospect. This is where our coaching staff needs to step it up. This class would be much better with a Leatherwood or LeBryan Ray in it. Maybe we need to stop choosing to fight Bama for our top targets.

This is the 3rd consecutive season without a Top 10 class. If you are a Power 5 school in the state of Florida, this is an embarrassment.

Florida's latest recruiting classes ranked like this:

2015: #21
2016: #12
2017: #14 (as of now at least)

Zero Top 11 classes in 3 seasons.

Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Auburn have all four COMBINED to have just 3 classes fall outside the Top 11 since 2009! Between those four teams, that's 36 total classes... 3 finishing outside the Top 11.

Auburn's 2009 class was ranked #23
LSU's 2012 class was ranked #12
Georgia's 2013 class was ranked #12

Every other class since 2009 for these schools (and ALL of Alabama's) have finished in the Top 11.

Florida has had 3 consecutive outside the Top 11 all by themselves just in the last 33 years.

Considering the fertile territory, this is honestly unbelievable.

And yet, despite everything you just wasted your time typing, we've beaten UGA 3 years in a row.

Georgia leads the series 50-43-2. Sorry you guys just learned about the game of football in the 1990s.

LSU, FSU, and UGA, teams that Florida plays every year all have a top 5 class and Florida can't even crack the top 10. Gators are fricked.

Class ranked 9th on Rivals and 10th on 247

And you have to come to Gainesville 2 straight years.

I know my fellow Gators won't like this...but if we want to claim the established date of 1853, we have to own the loss of 1904.

Though the discrepancy is as much a part of our history as playing in Jacksonville

I would think the pertinent date would be 1906 when we fielded our first football team.
