Yeah Saban is a freight train. We're just trying to keep up!

Saban has made me quit. My collegiate football fandom has reached an all time low

Gonna be a hard fall to reality when that man leaves Tuscaloosa. Matching those standards will be next to impossible for the next HC. The rest of us just have to wait until then.

We might slip a bit a few years after he's gone, but it won't be by that much. CNS will leave us loaded with talent and plenty of folks will want the job. I'm sure CNS will have a lot of say in who replaces him too.
Only school in the conf to have an SEC title in every decade, and we also had 4 Southern Conf titles before the SEC was founded.
5 separate coaches have won it all here and 4 of them won more than one national title.

Hopefully he recommends Houston Nutt like he did when he left LSU lol

Learn from history.... That is NOT the case. No one wants to be the one that follows the man(Saban).
In fact, take a look at the coaching search after Bear Bryant retired.

Yeah I know. The last place he left was so well stocked with talent that even a lovable buffoon could win a title. Imagine what Dabo will be able to do with the talent he inherits in Tuscaloosa...and he won't have to compete against Saban they way the replacement at Nick's last job did.

Imagine when Dabo decides to stay put because filling Saban's size 8 shoes is rather deceiving.
You should know better than anyone that the first choice when a legend retires is to try to hire someone with similar success. However, it never fails that great coaches are very hesitant to leave their current position to fill the shoes of a coach that had the success of Nick Saban.

You are wrong, O followed Miles so your point is moot.
