According to ESPN, the spreads and predictor basically liken this matchup to Michigan's chances against UGA.

Doesn't really matter what bowl it is. If it's not a playoff game, a lot of the top players are sitting out. Another reason college football is diminishing in quality.

It's really hard to tell with any bowl game outside of the playoffs or the ones associated with the playoffs but are out of rotation.
UNC is definitely the better team but all these mid-to-low tier bowl games may just depend on which team gives a shite more about it. UNC had much higher expectations coming into the season than we did with most not expecting us to even get to a bowl.
The only way we win is UNC just comes out cathartic and uninspired.
