YouTube TV will offer a new sports-only plan in 2026 that's cheaper than its current $82

They tried to charge me 92 dollars per month when I went to sign back up. When I started with them a few years ago it was 49 dollars. frick YoutubeTV, also.

Astros now offering a D2C sub, which I’m excited about. Assume other teams are offering the same?

If it's not at least at $54 or less, it's not worth it honestly.

This could be great for me. I add YTV in August and cancel in April so I get college football and basketball. That is the only reason I get it. If I can accomplish that at a lower price point I am all for it.

I dropped YouTube tv and switched to Fubo sports package , $56.00 a month. Be interesting to see cost of YouTube plan.

I did the same.

YouTube sent me something saying if I would sign back up with them I could get the first month with a $60 deduction. Nope. I'm happy. They'll need to beat FUBOs plan next year, too, if they want me back.

That's how all cheap streaming and other internet services have operated over the past 10-15 years.
