The Rant is all fun and games, but nobody is safe in the SEC from one week to the next this year. The minute you feel good about yourself, chances are the next Saturday won't be pretty. This goes for every team. Including yours. Very soon you will be staring at 3 losses just like us and several others.

How freakin tough this league is. They played that pussy Big 12 ball so long they thought they could come in this league and do the same. Aint no Okie State or K-States in this league, boys. You can buy all the Manning’s you want but you gotta put your big boy pants on every single week or you’ll get your arse kicked.

It needed to be done and Texas will be better without the Manning distraction and a coach that can handle a big game.
Unfortunately, I think Arch will be riding the pine for the LSU game.

I wish he'd waited a few more games before deciding to shite the bed and force Sark into publicly questioning his position as QB1. Either he gets dialed in and fired up for the rest of the games or he gets benched and UT gets to try another QB (which can only improve their offense, right?). Either way I'd have loved to see Prince and Deuce chasing his entitled arse around in the backfield making life miserable for him and the shorthorns.

As for Sark, I'm guessing that he's a survivor and will throw Arch under the bus (if necessary) for the rest of the season to save his job - even if it means using a new QB and getting him valuable experience "for next year's campaign".

Because we exposed Texas. We destroyed their will AT THEIR home.

No taking away from what Oklahoma did, they certainly helped,

Thanks, I guess? For exposing what most Texas fans already knew this year and most of last season. That our offense sort of sucks at times, and will lead to losses.

Not sure I follow... Most of the non-Horn fans believe that forcing Arch into QB1 based on pedigree (NOT performance) is the primary reason for UT's offensive problems this year. I don't care how good or bad your OC might be - if you don't have a QB capable of executing the game plan and dealing with changing situations during a play then you aren't going to win. And Arch just aint that QB.....

So, if that's true, are you saying that most UT fans already knew that Arch wasn't up to the challenge? Like I said in another post, not trying to throw shade or pick a fight, I'm genuinely curious.

I'm saying there has been problems with the offense in general. Not sure anyone could predict Arch would turn out this bad after the end of last season. He seemed like he was progressing. However, a lot of people were calling for Sark to fire Banks and Flood in the offseason and upgrade his coaching staff on offense and special teams. There's been definite issues with the Oline play, and the running game has struggled a lot. Now it has gotten even worse over time. Sark will be done after next season if it keeps going like this and he doesn't make changes.

Welcome to the SEC in the age of NIL,PORTAL, rulings. Each week is a crap shoot ,no matter who your coach is you better be ready mentally and psyically if you want to win.GEO a team with as much talent as anyone is beat up,try being a less talented and surviving the gauntlet.Every fan of other SEC reams make fun of LANE KIFFIN when each week your coaches lose a game,no one is undefeated in this league.Evan NICK would have trouble now ,his teams wouldn’t be as talented as they were.

I agree, even more reason Sark needs to upgrade the offense staff and hire a dedicated Offensive Coordinator. Being a head coach and juggling offensive coordinator duties and trying to develop QBs at the same time is not working for him or the QBs.

Flood is crap as an Oline coach and has proven it over and over and over. He needs to be gone.

When Sarks 20 or so play script runs out at the start of games, the offense starts to lose their identity and his QB gets nervous as heck and scared to throw the ball to open receivers. Or the QB is getting covered up so fast by the Oline/Dlineman/ blitzers that he has no time to find the open receivers. There are so many things wrong right now that show up every week and not getting fixed by Sark or the Offensive staff. They need major changes.

It's possible, but Florida has a tougher schedule remaining than Kentucky, and Kentucky has lost to a better team than Florida, so....
