Trying to explain basic math to illiterates is not easy. I wouldn't bother trying to explain to these swamp rats why the statistics are skewed.
Then you have the KCMO complex folks that love to shite on STL because KC isn't nearly as cool, its smaller & less powerful in Jeff City. KC has it's own crime problems & they have to live by KS so that makes it worse.
