You are probably right. USC is supposed to be his dream job though. That may factor in.

I feel like we've been through this before.

The comment is "LSU is the only SEC school in the state of Louisiana, a state that is rich in talent."

USC. Better climate, less competition, no hurricanes or alligators, and people speak English (and Spanish)

USC without a second thought. L.A. weather is incredible, and on a coach’s salary, one could enjoy most of the upside of the west coast while being insulated from most of the downsides. Plus, lower expectations, more media bias in my favor, and less competition. I could remain employed far longer showing just above average results.

Would be funny if Sark took a page out of the Kiffin playbook and ditched Texas after one year to go back to USC.

I meant only SEC school in Lousiana not that there aren't other states with just one SEC school.

USC has a lot more money, tradition and all that. Living here in Los Angeles is a negative, though.

They do not have an on campus stadium and their football only facility is dated : LINK

USC...NIL opps are better in SoCal for crooting and it's a better destination as I'd be making millions as HC id be able to afford jt...Also easier path to the Playoffs in the PAC12

Not if you're rich.

Ok, this plays into LSU more. Baton Rouge and with New Orleans nearby, we all say "it's awful" but there are nice things if you have some money.

The LSU coach is RICH by BR/Nola standards. Heck, the coordinators are rich by those standards.

The USC coach isn't rich by LA/Southern Cal standards, not even close. Probably not even C-list.

I love Louisiana and NOLA, but if given the choice and it's similar money I'm going to SoCal

Hard to answer in a vacuum. With USC's history and recruiting potential, you could build a dynasty having to compete with Oregon and lesser competition than the SEC. LSU has also shown it can win national titles with its strong recruiting base and program history, but you would have to compete with Saban and the best conference in the country.

Lot tougher to win at LSU......That said, LSU is dedicated to trying to win, USC not so much.

Saban probably won't be in the West after next season. Still a tough slate though in the division.

USC definitely. Cmon now. It's Southern California. Beautiful area. And USC has more prestige.
