For Arkansas.....
Impressed: Oline...I see why we upped Pitmans salary to keep him here and not at Bama. The best the Oline has looked in years.....Defense... Multithreat QBs have always given us fits, but we did a great job Saturday. Secondary covered well, looked for the ball. Dline is strength of defense. 5-6 deep at DT, 4-5 deep at DE. Quality depth....running game....Collins and Williams will be fun to watch for a few years...Brandon Allen looked good...throws a nice ball and went through his progressions well. Sometimes went with his 3rd option....TE Hunter Henry...great first game
Concerns: linebacker....not great at covering the underneath stuff...not deep at the position...Otha will be back in a couple weeks, so the jury is still out....punt return...maybe this is nit picky, but I thought Herndon was about to drop a few...or maybe after last year, I grew to expect a screw up...

I was impressed at how we played like dog shite on the offensive side of the ball, but still managed to beat a name opponent by more than 3 touchdowns.

I was impressed how well our banged up young secondary contained Wakins
And Gurley of course

I was impressed with our receivers.
I'm worried about our secondary.

Impressed: Todd Gurley is on another level. Quayvon Hicks did a nice job running, catching, and blocking out of the backfield as well.
Concerns: The same as always. The offensive line looked atrocious. The run defense once again was nowhere to be found. Poor execution and a lack of discipline was also concerning. Aaron Murray.

impressed:
88 O plays
13/19/3rd down conversion
The D playing with a lot of attitude
Execution of the O already much improved over last year
Concerns:
Giving up big plays
still some receiver drops
need some Tight End play
The D needs to continue to gel

We don't seem to be too good on defense. Hopefully that was just because of the suspensions. I think we can still outscore anybody though.

Besides a couple of big plays and some long bombs that almost were completed, our defense played lights out. But I don't know what to think though considering that teams QB and offense.

Secondary played pretty well. Tackled well... Defensive. It was a hard offense to determine a pass rush..
Offense had no rhythm. Marshall got better as the game went along but he still looked a little nervous. We need a receiver to step up.

Auburn:
Positives - Secondary looks much, much better. Although a lot of yards were given up through the air, that's to be expected when you're playing Mike Leach. They intercepted it 3 times, which is one more than we had all year last year. Tackling looked much improved. The running game was phenomenal, with almost 300 yards rushing, and Montravious Adams and Carl Lawson are as good as advertised.
Concerns - Linebacker play was atrocious. Enough said. Quarterback play and the overall offense was sporadic, and the wide receivers dropped quite a few passes. Communication in the offense will have to get better.

For LSU..
Pass blocking/game: Really blew my mind that at times, the pass was setting up the run. Mett looked poised back there and was throwing darts. When they play wasn't there he either threw it away or was able to use just enough mobility to evade the pass rush. I only recall two sacks off the top of my head, and one was because of a missed assignment. Landry and Beckham look like the real deal.
Run blocking/game: I guess it's funny that we still ran for nearly 200 yards and I still feel like we underachieved. I don't know how many first down runs were stopped for either a loss, no gain, or at most one yard. I really couldn't believe it. I love Blue, but I think this proved he can't be our every down back. It was awesome to see Magee step up because he brought that sledgehammer element that Blue couldn't and still showed off his jets on that long run. I expect to see this improve once Hill gets back.
Pass defense: I continue to be so impressed with Mills. He gets credit within our own fanbase, but I hardly hear him mentioned in the media. He's just next in line to continue the great DB tradition at LSU. Overall I was pretty impressed considering Paschall is no slouch. We limited the big plays to almost non-existence. It really wasn't until Boykin came in the game their offense was able to get anything going.
Run defense: This was a little concerning, specifically the QB runs off of options. I feel like we've been very successful defending this in the past, but we seemed pretty slow to react to this. Thankfully there's really only two teams on the schedule who utilizes this, Auburn and aTm, but i just fear what Manziel will do. I trust in Chief to figure that out, but that's probably my biggest concern. Ferguson was a huge surprise breaking through the line regularly. Rasco looked kinda slow to me. I think he played well, but it will take some time not expecting great speed from that position.
Overall I feel very confident about the season. The offense blew my expectations out of the water while the defense pretty much performed to expectation. The KO return for TD and turnover on our own 6 leading to a quick TD for them made the game seem much closer than it really was. Some are writing off TCU but damn, they looked fast as hell on offense and were extraordinarily stout at the point of attack. Thankfully we had such a good passing plan in place, because had we continued to focus on the run game, TCU may have pulled that one out.

The pass blocking was tremendous, no doubt.

LSU:
Defense wasn't great and we can't score in the red zone. If we get at least one of those corrected, we can be a great team.

Impressed with our discipline and concentration.
Concerned about being a bit short on talent overall.
Regardless of our record, this year we will be way yonder better than last year.

Florida
Impressed: defense look awesome with many starters out. Game was never in doubt, something that early last year was not true (BG). The number of plays the offense got, and TOP, even after a terrible 3rd Q. Our running game without our best RB.
Concerns: vertical passing. Driskel's pocket awareness of pressure, although he looked much better than last year. Penalties :(
