McNeil started all four years at Auburn (including as a true freshman) from 2002-2005, was apart of 39 wins in four years including an SEC Championship, was named all american, and has had a productive career for the Chargers (including being named to the Pro Bowl as a LT).

McNeil's resume is as good or better than anyone else in the SEC over the last 10 years.

It is times like this when I truly hate that Tyrone Prothro was injured. He would be on this very list IMO...

Here's a good question to Bama fans..
Who's better, Julio or Prothro(before injury)?

No flame, want your honest opinion.

Williams and Brown would start over any rb from any team this decade. Put them in Nutt's or Saban's 09 offense where they run 70% of the time and this wouldn't even be close. People can say whatever they want and not include pro numbers but the rookie of the year award that Carnell won does nothing but support my claims.

Marcus McNeil gave up 2 sacks during his 4 years starting at Auburn, was a 2 time 1st team All American, is on several all decade teams for all of college football and in 3 pro seasons is a 2 time pro bowler. The only reason he wasn't a top 10 draft pick is due to him having Spinal Stenosis.

Karlos Dansby was a 1st team All American and 2 time 1st team all SEC. Willis and McClain are obvious selections but for the 3rd lb Dansby is solidly in the conversation and in my eyes the 3rd lb.

Carlos Rodgers- lock Thorpe Award winner and all

Grubbs probably a reach on my part but he was a 1st round draft pick at the Guard position, a 3 year start for Auburn paving the way for names like Williams, Brown and Irons, and he has been a starter all 3 years in the NFL.

No, they wouldn't.

They weren't though, and what they did, was not as good as several others did. They were very good, but not in the top 2 or 3 this past decade, argue as you might, their production vs. other RB's prove this.

DJ Hall over both as of now.

But to answer your question, JJ everytime. Prothro was nothing but an undersized WR that played with tons of heart, not some god of the gridiron that many Bama fans make him out as...

Are you cereal? Eli Manning > every qb you listed, Dexter McCluster and Ingram over some of the other big time backs, the FB is Peyton Hillis from Arkansas, the TE is Jason Witten, Julio Jones is a joke right. Your defense is closer minus the obvious homeristic picks Cody and Kareem Jackson and the ommission of the DE from Florida's 06 NC team(Dunlap?)and Carlos Rodgers.

Don't look at NFL period. This is All SEC based on their college play.

Is the NFL the criteria? It's an SEC All Decade team. Not an All SEC NFL performance decade team.

Jason Witten should be the TE ahead of both Tamme and Hernandez, with Hernandez being 2nd.

John Henderson should clearly be above Marcus Spears. Henderson won the Outland trophy. Matter of fact, I'd have Albert Haynesworth ahead of Spears as well.

And no way in hell is Julio Jones on there.
