Living in Scottsdale/Phoenix > College Station/Byron

For coaching career Pac12 > SEC

Weather ASU > TAMU

Off season events/NFL etc.. ASU > TAMU

Why would a coach want to fight the Dog fight if they can live the life for the same money and make their job easier. No college Job is "easy" but you know the difference.

College Station instead of Scottsdale.. Y'all are joking right?

If you're just talking where I would rather move then yes, LA or Arizona and it's not a close.

However, those jobs are difficult from the standpoint of winning enough to meet expectations. ASU probably a little bit better since UCLA and Ole Miss both seem to have expectations which seem unrealistic.

So is South Bend, Indiana the greatest city in the world. You asked to rank the job openings, not the cities they're in.

Believe it or not, some people really like college towns, and prefer them over big cities.

PENN STATE
OLE MISS

If you are wondering why I have UCLA so low it is because that school is on record for not giving enough funding to the football program for it to compete with the big boys.

All of the above as your the coach choosing these school and the money is equal.

We are talking longevity, chance to win championships and legacy possibilities. Remember, the money is equal at all schools.

I want someone to give me a legit reason why TAMU would be in the top half?

That's not what I meant. You are the coach and choosing why chose your order?

So far the only valid reason other than mine on this topic.

Why is TAMU #1?

Recruits, prestige, potential to win, atmosphere. Tradition matters too, if we have to choose a 1-loss team for BCSNC, TAMU and PSU would get benefit of doubt over ASU.

It would be easier to win at TAMU or PSU, and winning at TAMU or PSU would be a lot more fun than the other places. People would give more of a shite than at ASU or UCLA.
