I don't think that is accurate.

It's not

He left out the text-gate vacated wins

21 total

He also left out 1993 forfeited games

8 wins and a tie

I really don't know where he got all that from because it should be 259-125-2 with a 67.358%

so change it to that and add in another NC and SECC and he would be correct.

Even if Bama had done something wrong to get them?

So then I have a question for ya.

If and I use that strongly, "IF" Auburn ended up having to vacate all wins that Cam played in which would include the National Title Game then would you still count Auburn as National Champions and never doubt that?

It's a good question though isn't it?

I mean yeah we might have won those games on the field, but we did the crime(s) so you gotta suck it up and say hey we got caught and they took them away, so they don't count.

Of course I would not count Auburn's NC. As Doc Holiday said, "My hypocrisy knows no bounds." Or something like that.

Seriously, my opinion would be based on why they were vacated/forfeited.

I've always felt that if a school does something illegal to get a player to campus they should be hammered and the wins should not count because the school gained a competitive advantage by getting a player they might not have gotten otherwise.

If a school or booster gives some free shite to a player already there I don't really care. The players are already there and they are just reaping some benefits of busting their arse 12 months a year.

So in Alabama's case, we were dirty as hell in the Means case and deserved to get hammered. We would not have gotten him had Logan Young not gotten involved (I know he didn't help us win any games but that's not the point). With Langam and the textbooks, no competitive advantage was gained so I have no problem with those wins.

In Auburn's case, if they have to vacate based on paying Cecil for Cam's services, I would say not to count it. If they had to vacate based on the allegations of free suits and $100 handshakes I say they won it.

Okay, so I take it that you don't think that the text-gate thing was "bad enough" to warrant that, which I do agree with somewhat.

But what about the 1993 season forfeits which involved Langham? Everyone knows that we tried to cover all that up and it ended up hurting us for years. I would say that was pretty serious.

With that in mind do you still count the 8 games we had to forfeit that year?

I call bs on that. They are already reaping benefits for busting their arse 12 months a year. It's called a free education.

I still count them. Again, what competitive advantage was gained? Now I'm not saying I agree with how the administration handled it, but Langham was already a player for us. He got cold feet about going pro and decided to come back. I understand the NCAA had to forfeit the games because of their rules, I just don't agree with it.

I got a free education also by way of academic scholarship but I guarantee the football players were working harder and putting in more hours than me and 99% of the other academic scholarship recipients.
