There is all kinds of dumb in this thread. I am amazed at how people continue to say the same things despite it being obvious that much of the info leaked in 2010 was both incorrect and at best overstated.

The fanboy love for Cam is comical. Never seen so many grown Auburn men act like little kids and worship the dude like he's their childhood hero.
It's kinda like how LSU fans were with Fournette last season.

What have I done to give you that impression, since you replied to me?
He's an incredible athlete and I think he's a very good guy, but I'm not into hero worship of guys 15 years younger than me. My boys do like him a lot though and I think it's great that they have a guy of his caliber to look up to.

Leave them Barners alone. Cam is the ONLY thing they have had to cheer about in a long, long time. It's going to be another 50 years before they win another title so I guess we should all just get used to their fandom.
Nothing against Cam. Fantastic player who should be getting the accolades he deserves right now.

- Alabama fans
- Tall poppy (people hate winners, especially when they get beat by them
- Cam is pretty confident, people with low self esteem have a hard time with that
- Latent racism (see first point)

AU Fan's support Cam because they saw what the Bammer's tried to do to him for being an AU Player. You had one clown (Moore/Scoop) try to push a tape with Cam's voice on it asking for money. You had it then pushed at the National Level by an Bammer (Ian Fitzpatick) with stuff fed to him by Moore/scoop and John Bond. Then you had Danny Sheridan claiming he uncovered the bagman and got all the bammers coming out of the woodwork in hopes of taking away AUs NC. When it all was proven as just lies by an obsessed fan base, it showed the WORLD how warped the Bammers were. That is why we love Cam.
