Nothing but empty coachspeak and utter bullshite.
It all started when all of these teams started trying to be like the Big 12 and stopped running the ball. When you don't run the ball, it makes your defense pillow shite soft in practice and pillow shite soft in games.

The last dominant season for the SEC was 2019.
Conference has been down ever since. Damn shame too.

Big 12 had the same amount of non-conference wins vs final ranked opponents last year. Conference hasn't been the same since 2019. It is what it is. I hate it too.

The Big12 hasn't won a playoff game, much less a national championship in 17 years. 2 SEC teams accomplished that last year alone.
You're just an LSU fan who can't deal with the reality that 2019 wasn't as special as you need it to be.

2022 Georgia has a chance of pushing 2019 LSU from 3rd best down to 4th best this year if they can win out.
That's gotta sting a bit. It's only been 3 years since your so called greatest season ever and already 2 more SEC teams will end up being better.
No doubt that's why you gotta hug on to the bottom of the SEC as an indicator of strength since 2019. You sure as hell can't look at the top.

The SEC is top heavy and has been for awhile. 1-2 teams are really good/great, and the others are ok at best, which is why the top teams don’t have very many close games.
To be fair, all of college football is also top heavy.

2019 LSU defense is why it's not the GOAT. There are 2 sides of the ball contrary to what LSU fans think, and your defense was no where near the GOAT.
And I'm pretty sure 2020 Alabama offense rated better than 2019 LSU offense in stats that weren't based on totals. Oh, and of course had a good defense to go along with it.
