Just like the fact that Davis jumped backwards before raising his gun to fire, which would indicate he was under threat
Sir, Davis walked right up to the driver's door. There is video of this per the ESPN article.
Seems like both parties escalated to me per the ESPN report but I don't know how you ignore Davis walking right up like that presumably ready to fire.

Nope, still a bad look keeping miller on the team.

I’ve seen nothing to suggest that Davis shouldn’t be put under the jail. Miles’ facts are slightly better than his but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get a healthy sentence

Agreed.

Although it seems that Miles behavior started the altercation…..if the boyfriend escalated…..then he should absolutely be held responsible on his end.
As should EVERYONE involved

"That piece also mentions that ESPN reviewed video showing Davis falling backwards before firing into the Jeep, which calls into question who fired first. That will be heavily debated at the trials on Miles and Davis."
That’s still kinda weak to me. The driver of the jeep saw the guy that they had just had an altercation with walking towards the car with a gun. I’d open fire on a motherfricker too

They do because then they have something to bitch and moan about until football season.

That doesn't explain his driving across the street with lights out after Miles and Davis exit the bar. He wasn't trying to avoid another altercation..he was looking to continue it. Don't forget, according to Miles, he had already flashed his gun at them earlier.

Yeah, whether the Jeep pulled in (lights off) with intentions to do them harm or not, the issue is Davis approaching the Jeep knowing that it was the group they had the altercation with.
It's not a defensive move in that situation.
They should have ran or got in Bradley's car and left when the Jeep pulled in.
I don't see how the defense will defend him approaching the jeep.

I don’t think he crossed the street. The jeep was parked behind Houndstooth. Although they were separated, the parties were still reasonably close and likely a turn or 2 away from eachother. We don’t have all the facts so I have to give the boyfriend the same benefit of the doubt that I give Miller. I don’t think the intention was to restart the conflict even though it potentially appeared that way to the players

They both were.

Assuming Miles is correct, Davis knew this and still walked right up to the driver's door with his own gun at the ready.
That's a weak arse self-defense case for either side but only one side killed somebody.

It is probably true that some here would like nothing more than for Alabama to lose in the final four. It will prolong their ability to troll, but still leave Alabama with nothing important.
Unlike LSU, who holds the national record for most final fours without winning a game, we wouldn’t consider making the final four a huge accomplishment. You either win the thing or you don’t.
