I'm still laughing at the thought that the 2019 Alabama team which had Markail Benton and Shane Lee starting at linebacker is a better football team than this one.

There isn’t a football team in the history of the sport that would “easily crush” either of those teams. They were two of the most dominant offenses ever in CFB with first rounders at every level on offense. Almost the exact opposite of the 2011 teams.
2020 Bama O/2011 Bama D v 2019 LSU O/2011 LSU D is a fun thought. The best units on both sides of the ball from the last decade of CFB.

Jimmy Ott of BR radio supposedly called his contact in Vegas and was told Bama would be a 2 or 2 1/2 point favorite on a neutral field.
