2019 LSU couldn't even beat 2019 Auburn by a TD or 2 . Stop rewriting history on 2019 LSU they were not some juggernaut.
They played 3 close games against Bama, Auburn, and mediocre Texas. They gave up 38 to Vanderbilt. They didn't play particularly well against either of the Mississippi schools either.
They won it in a year where all the playoff teams from 2018 took a step back.
Bama was worse in 2019 than the previous year
Clemson was worse as they lost 3 1st rd ers on their defensive line.
OU went from Kyler Murray and 2 1st rd Wrs in Lamb and Hollywood Brown. They also had the the Joe Moore award winning offensive line to Jalen Hurts, only Lamb, and a bad Oline.
UGA went from having one of the best offenses in 2018 with play making WRs to being offensively challenged in 2019.
LSU capitalized on a down year from all the major contenders.

I am Tuna's #1 critic - I believe he is absolute beans - but he is better than Max.
Out of curiosity, and while you’re in a complimentary mood, what objectively makes Tua better? Mac had marginally better stats this year. Must have been Tua’s charisma.

I’m not sure why they need to try to diminish 2019 LSU. It’s almost like everyone has forgotten that 2019 LSU played almost the same Alabama team last year at Bama in front of an actual hostile crowd, and LSU won, and the game was never in doubt. Honestly, Bama had the same players minus the starting QB for the Miami Dolphins and 2 of the best WR’s in Bama history (Jerry Jeudy and Jalen Waddle).

There is a reason one went Top 5 off of a gruesome injury - and the other is a late first rounder off of an "undefeated" season.

Well if we're counting chickens here, Some... not all LSU posters have made it their life work to delegitimize the season from about 2 months ago to present. I get some of it is the influence of WillyT constant trolling and you have segments of LSU fans want to follow him. Most Bama fans don't care how LSU posters view this season. It's pretty much the same cast of characters in the same threads over and over.
2019 LSU was absolutely fabulous team deserves be mentioned as one of the best teams ever. I'm not really sure of this hostile crowd business...name a road game Bama loses this year? Maybe Ole Miss but was a 2 score game most of the game the Najee Goal line fumble was a terrible call or we go up 3 scores. We never trailed in that game.

You think this Bama team would beat last year 2019 LSU team? Is this in front of small crowds that Bama had to play in front of or the hostile environment LSU had to navigate last year? It’s funny how Bama fans want to put up all these stats and say how of a juggernaut this team was. Look at the competition. Look at the nearly empty stadiums. Those were 0 hostile environments which could affect a game. Mac Jones did horrible in a hostile environment last year when it mattered. Burrow thrives in them. No this Bama team put up staggering numbers on the weakest competition ever.
