Georgia owes a huge thank you to Texas for that game, by the way. Georgia went into the game with a sense of entitlement while Texas went into it with some excitement...the QB suggested that Texas was back after the win...back from what no one knows but it happened. Georgia pooched their lips out and pouted and got that arse spanked...and it has not happened again. In fact, just the opposite has happened....and anyone who doubts that game has not served as a cautionary tell to remind entitled UGA teams what happens when you worry about what happens instead of what is happening is delusional. UGA has lost 6? games since that game, 3 of those were to Alabama, one to LSU, one to Florida and one inexplicable loss at home in OT to South Carolina. That 7 point loss to Texas is a part of that. For comparison Texas has lost 20 times since that game.

Since that game UGA has lost 6 times, 2 of which were losses to the eventual National Champion and one was to the team that lost in the championship game. Texas has lost 20 times since. None of those losses were to the eventual national champion. None of that has anything at all to do with the game this year.
