But to be transparent you are capturing both one of the greatest periods in your schools football modern history AND one of the worst in our modern history with that snapshot

Arch needs to put his head down and keep working. All this show baiting after how poorly he has played is giving me second hand embarrassment

Kid’s definitely a work in progress, I agree…

I did like seeing our O line playing better in the second half vs OU, because they were awful against Florida.

And Arch needed some SEC game win confidence this season, so it was good to see him smile. When he has energy, the team has energy…

I’d argue Mississippi State was about the same as FL. Don’t “sleep on” that game, horns, or they’ll bite you. Especially in Starkville.

I think Floridas better on every side of the ball. They’ve recruited much better. That being said, I believe it’s slated to be a night game in Starkville and could definitely be one that can sneak up on us.

You’re Correct. Starkville is loud and passionate. The Grind is real.

except for the fact that we went 25-5 the last 2 seasons with a conference championship and two playoff births.. Not to mention that y’all are 3-10 vs Texas since 2000 and 2-4 in Austin during that stretch.. Not to mention that y’all are 4-10 vs LSU since 2000 and 0-7 in Baton Rouge during that stretch.. Not to mention that y’all are 4-7 vs Mizzou since 2000 and 1-3 in Columbia during that stretch.. That’s 3 pretty big hurdles you have left + Arkansas on the road + SC at home, who beat you last year. You sure there is a new 8-4 Texas team in town? Oh yeah, those are your 3 permanent rivals as well..

Methinks I hit a nerve.

I remember American culture in my childhood when people picked up their trash.

It's not just a select few who have effed our culture.

It's you.

Lol. Definitely gave you trouble.

But, nah, I would say our win over ND in South Bend.

Okay, let’s look at this. By your logic, we’re going to lose to Texas and LSU because historically we’ve struggled at those stadiums. However, we are ALSO potentially going to lose to a South Carolina team that is 0-5 at College Station, damn the fact that A&M is far better and SCar is far worse this year. Does that about sum it up?

You confuse me, BigBro. You mix reason and facts with melts and living in the past.

Nope, not at all.

Texas has 9 seasons (counted 9-4 and 8-5 without looking at bowls) all time

A&M has 9 of those seasons in the last 15 years..

You’re gonna have to find someone else to pin it on, cause that ain’t us..

Got to admit, Manning looked better yesterday than he has all season. I have not had a chance to see OU play this year. Not sure how they were ranked so high. They did not look good at all.

well, let me help you a bit.. whatever you think is me melting probably isn’t me melting.. I’m mostly data driven, which isn’t common around these parts.

Manning played his best game yesterday. He made some incredible throws against a pretty good defense. No interceptions and 1 sack against a Venables D is pretty rare.

Oklahoma looked good against Michigan and Auburn at home.. there is a big difference between home and road splits this year across all P4 teams.. bigger than usual imo..

While that game isn’t home or road, it’s a unique environment and mixes both with the 50/50 split. Momentum can change really quickly.

Mateer himself said he wasn’t mentally prepared for it, and I can understand that.. it’s intense. I wish DKR could be like that.. I swear, 50% often seems louder than the 100k at DKR.. for both sides..

The link was to a video of Arch waving to OU fans as they left the Cotton Bowl early. Here is a still photo:

Nope, not at all.

By my logic, the Aggies aren’t a lock yet because of those road hurdles.. but hurdles are there because it means that they can be cleared.. they aren’t road blocks..

A&M could go 12-0 imo, y’all have a good team and you have to go 2-2 or better in those 4 road games. I guess there is an outside chance that 10-2 doesn’t get in, but those chances are really slim.. prob less than 1%.

As for SC, Sellers is bipolar but when he is on, he’s hard to beat.. so you’ll still have to show up.

It sure seems that way.
