I expect there will be a lot of people very upset we only had to pay 9 and change.

And they all probably wear the second shittiest shade of orange known to man.

I don't know - Okie Lite is probably my most hated orange. It's like day-glo hunter orange. Which should not be on a football uniform.

But texass is up there, for sure.

Hahah agreed, but if you've ever been to Stoolwater you would probably understand why they chose that color. It really does fit their Universities personality well.

Also I hate burnt orange, but just because it is associated with those smug mf'ers down in Austin

Yes, way less that what was estimated.

Ya, this is honestly a relief. The Little 12 was threatening a much higher exit fee earlier in the process.

I am honestly not concerned with A&M ever being strapped for cash. The Big XII exit fee seemed like a red herring to me. If it was 30 million, I think A&M would have found a way to pay it, and be just fine. The Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering treats us well.

Time to collect on that LSU debt they welshed on back when they got tired of being a power bottom to Sul Ross.

Unless you adjust for inflation from 1995 on, that only would account for the .31 portion of the 9.31 M.

$9.31M is actually being withheld from A&M's and Mizzou's Big XII payouts.

How much of that does Texas get to keep?
Maybe they can use some of it for advertising of their shitty Longhorny network.

Dunno.

Might help pay for this first.

And the travel costs to Morgantown seem a little steep.

As far as advertising goes... I see it every time I turn on ESPN. I almost have that guys voice drowned out.

Hey, if the price of renegging on our contract with A&M was saying goodbye to 6 straight losing seasons and saying hello to 2 crystal footballs and 4 SEC titles, then that's a price I'll pay every day and twice on Sundays.

Surely you Aggies can understand now why we needed to buy our freedom.

P.S. I'll never forgive y'all for giving that piece of shite Curley Hallman a college diploma. That alone excuses our actions in giving you the finger on our contract.

Didn't Chick Fil A just drop their sponsorship of the Bevo10?

Don't know, they're still listed as a corporate partner. Maybe through the end of the sports year?
