This team is experienced and talented, and fairly deep.

Return what many think will be the first QB taken in the draft.

Bring back a 1000 yard rusher coming off shoulder surgery. Back him up with a promising SO who averaged 5.3 yards per carry vs SEC defenses.

Possibly the best TE in the country.

Return every start on the OL. 2 Seniors.

One of the best deep threats in the country at WR. Return a slot who had 724 yards and 6 TD last year.

Terry Beckner JR coming back was huge for the defense. 1st RD talent at DT.

Return all starters at LB. Terez Hall turned into an All SEC caliber LB over the course of last year.

Odom is becoming a bit more comfortable, confident and experienced.

We have a few question marks like most every team, but this team will be better than most on this board think. If those question marks get positive answers then this team will be damn good and push UGA hard for the East.

If anyone here is sleeping on/in/with Mizzou, you should get yourself tested.

No...I think most of us believe Mizzou will be lights out deadly on offense.

However like last year we dont think you'll be able to stop anyone on defense. That's the belief as I am the SECrant spokespetson

I’m not even sure of that tbh. Their OC went to UCF and they replaced him with Dooley

Dooley will look like a genius by years end. He may or may not be, but he's going to look good working with this group

You have a kick arse QB no doubt and the Sec East has been down. Georgia is now a player and South Carolina is no pushover. Who do you play in the west?

ETA: I'm going to call it now. You lose to UGA and probably SC. If you beat SC you will have a loss to either Florida or Ky. Then you have to deal with the Sec west. So, 8 wins tops. Bookmark this. That is, 4 losses in Sec play and you need to win all non conf opponents.

You not beating Georgia, that is a loss. You gonna lose to at least one other east team, probably SC and I dare say you are not a shoe-in to beat Florida or Ky. Hell, Tennessee. You deff gonna lose to a west team, mark that down.

You mean the QB who puts up below average to average stats against any team with a pulse?

Padding stats against Missouri State, UConn, and Idaho isn't gonna help his draft stock buddy.

Feel like this is incredibly misleading considering how he played against Tennessee compared to the rest of the East.

Overall though I kind of get your point. I think you'd have far more preseason hype if it wasn't for that WTF loss against Texas in the Texas Bowl. I want to at least wait and see what the offense looks like post-Heupel before giving Mizzou any love this season.

I'm not the one hyping his draft status buddy.

He averaged 274 yards per game and had 25 TD vs 8 INT vs SEC competition.

Was he better against weaker teams? Yes. Everyone is. That's how FB generally works.

Was just saying that he probably won't be the 1st QB taken, his stats are heavily padded against weaker teams.

But who knows, frickin Josh Allen was drafted in the first round so any QB can
