Offense may be good. It will depend on KY defense not to get shredded to pull the upset.

I’m still learning about Auburn’s roster.

Our OL still has issues. We didn't get punished at times because it was ECU and the scoreboard was large, but Alabama has to play better.

Hopefully our defense will keep us in this until the OL starts to gel. They are all new and don't have many reps together, so I'm hoping for large improvements in these early games.

Should pull it out simply because their offense will match up worse against our defense than vice versa. But if they have some kind of Pavia/Garcia QB play, we're probably fricked.

Everyone knew the fallout post-Saban would be bad…

Nobody thought it would be this bad.
* Community note * : LSU has never beaten Alabama in the post-Saban era, a period in which Alabama has won a playoff game and LSU has failed to qualify for the playoffs in every season.

People seem to think KY has the O line and QB to challenge most SEC defenses.

Joe Sloan is their OC.

It’s not Sloan’s playbook. It’s Will Stein’s offense.

Kalen usually loses these games when no one is expecting it.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if you got good at this. Your act is about as fresh as a Foghat concert.

Not sure what to think of this game with it being Russell’s first road game start. My mind is telling me it will be a sloppy game and a toss up but my body is telling me that it will be a statement game for Bama and Keelon will back up all the hype.

Alabama, and DeBoar got VERY, VERY lucky last year. Everyone, including Bama fans, know (saw) this.

And the days of the Elephants being coddled and "given" a Playoff Birth like last year are over!

Alabama will likely continue to field a respectable, above average, mid-tier football team. But in this NIL era, and their inability to play (pay); the wise, "smart money" approach/advice would be to invest (stretch) what little they have on other sports besides football.

More Bang for Bama Bucks on women's softball, tennis - lacrosse maybe.
