Radio show host in Atlanta said that the Yahoo "10" story that was coming was about an SEC West team that wasnt Ole Miss or Arky. Wetzel was on Finebaum on June 28th and said that they were NOT working on anything about Alabama, FWIW. That leaves LSU, MSU, and Auburn. The rest was a bunch of discussion.

I've got a scary feeling that it has to deal with LSU. I mean, what does State have to hide and the whole Auburn scandal is old news.

I still think it has something to do with Auburn with the Cam deal. I dont think it could get much bigger than the Heisman QB from the national championship team being in trouble. Just my opinion. Some of the info has come from Bama boards saying that SI is releasing something in 2 weeks on Auburn involving Cam and Cecil. I will believe when I see it. I just dont think the LSU would be a "10". Lyles is already in the other investigation with Oregon and I dont think that the shock and awe from that would warrant a "10".

Good point, But like any loyal fan (much like yourself and other posters in this thread) I just don't want it to be about my program. I'm all for the Yahoo Sports lynch mob going after the Auburn program

I don't think LSU has anything to be worried about with the "big" story.
For some reason Yahoo sports is holding the story. I think this is because they dug something up or have a super-secret source.
Mr.Lyles is telling his story to anyone who will listen. It seems to me, if the Yahoo story involve him they would rush it, do they could break it first.
I cannot believe nothing has leaked.

while this is a valid point Lyles did have that weird comment on the Oregon radio show about not being sure what he wanted to say about LSU.
ATPB like folk can easily infer from that he agreed to hold off on LSU with yahoo until the story breaks.

Maybe it's just me but, i find it interesting that yahoo sports is ahead of the curve (I.E. ESPN & CBS Sports) when it comes to a story this "top secret". I feel like some of the yahoo sports writers watched "Pony Excess" and said "The SEC is our golden goose" when it comes to investigative journalism.

And another one could be when Charles Robinson was asked "Whose BCS Championship appearance was in more jeopardy, Auburn or Oregon? and his response was "Flip a coin". If he knew that Auburn was in the clear and nothing could happen why wouldnt he say Oregon
