Don't forget the possibility of the story going deeper than Cam and Cecil Newton.

IMO, the payment won't even have to come from AU for it to be a 10 story.
If a Newton received any kind of payment for Cam to play ~ it's big news.

If something ever does come out, I'm gonna get another account on AE. That way I can put on my O&B glasses and pretend nothing is happening. I can ride out the storm with the comfort of knowing the world is out to get us, but family sticks together.

Agreed.
If it Auburn had nothing at all to do with it, it would be huge news if Yahoo had proof that the Heisman Trophy winner who just guided his team to a BCS trophy got paid. Even if Cecil got the money and Auburn and Cam never knew, it's a big story.

First post here but I fail to see how auburn fans do not see how a story (WITH PROOF) about cam being paid isnt a bombshell?
Of course on the same lines if anything came out about Alabama I would consider it a 10+ just because of the complete out of the blue factor...
