How will this materially affect Bama? Experience helps on offense and special teams. Even if he was relegated to the 3rd or 4th option at WR, he was still a main deep threat and probably on some ST units.

According to some LSU fans on here yes. But that was never talked about during his recruitment.
Saban also doesnt promise anyone PT. He tells them if they work hard enough, and are the best, they will play.

Yes. He was promised all of those things, his girlfriend got a scholly, a mercedes, and a job at Bama, and Landon got paid. Those are just the things we KNOW to be true. There's no telling what else those bammers did to get him to commit.
I mean, why else would any kid from Louisiana dare leave the state to play at the top program in the country?
