Ingram, like Richardson, is a rhythm back. Ingram led the Saints in 20+ yard carries in 2012 (he averaged a 20+ yard run every 38 carries while the rest of your backs needed 50+ carries per 20+ yard run). He isn't the garbage back Saints fans claim him to be. He's not great, but he's serviceable. If he played at Washington or Syracuse, or LSU, then Saints fans would be more patient with him. Since he played at Bama and you saw him on the sidelines in the BCSNCG & in BR last year, you magnify his issues.

He is garbage. He doesn't have the balance or vision that made him great at Bama. He goes down at every single hit.

I seriously hope Bama running backs stop going to fricking bottom dwellers like Cleveland and the saints.

No, that's not it. It's just that they're not as good without all the Bama juice heads blocking for them.

The move to trade TRich may be a little premature. He only averaged 3.6 ypc last year, but then again, he was on the Browns team...

You'd be fairly pissed off too when MI continues to shite the bed on goal line carries. I don't know what it is he just doesn't hit the holes as hard as he is capable of. Its frustrating. He's much bigger than darren sproles and I swear sproles gets more yards after contact than MI.

id in my early post about not having a 1000 rusher since 2006, and that when an offensive line is set up to only pass protect, it's hard for anyone to run behind it.

We haven't had a 1000 yard rusher because we usually run 4 backs. Two years ago we were third in the league inrushing and Ingram still sucked. He is garbage.

I agree that he isnt what he used to be, and that he should have gotten in the EZ on those two plays.

But Trent still has a chance to be a stud, especially in the Colt's offense.

Richardson is a good back. Ingram is not. I'm not sure why that's upsetting y'all. He was good at Bama. Terrible in New Orleans.

That's a really low average and the only way to justify it is this:
@ESPNStatsInfo: Trent Richardson averaging 1.6 rush yards after contact in his NFL career.

If he's averaging 3.5 but gets 1.6 yards after contact, it means his line is horrible. He averages getting hit after LESS than 2 yards. Put his average on his line and the Browns not having any passing threat.
