I have said 100 times I want Vitello..
but I don’t believe the OP for 1 second..
If anything, this is his agent trying to get him paid.. CDC doesn’t work this way.. unless the deal is signed and done already.. but idk if that’s even possible.. would that be binding at that point?
eta: as for the money, it isn’t mine but yes, I could 1000% see Texas paying $3 mil if this is who CDC wants. We have a $200+ million athletic budget. I would guess every school in this conference could afford it..

I agree. I wish Auburn could make a run at Mingione. I like Butch Thompson, but I believe he's lost his fire. Back to Mingione, he's a damn good ball coach.

So does Schloss. If you're going to pay stupid money just for the sake of it why not buy him out just to spite A&M?

They can try but don’t normally do things out of spite. No one really does this anymore.
Rumors of some language in buyout either preventing or making it financially difficult for Schloss to go to Austin. If that is the case then our Athletic department is getting their shite together.
Also, Schloss seems to really be into facilities and upgrades. Evidentially he is getting a significant amount of say in what is being planned. Part of what got his attention and brought him to A&M.

I don’t think Schloss would leave for Texas.. and I personally would rather have Vitello.. but they would both be high on my list..
I think the OP is full of shite for what it’s worth.. but I do think we will be hiring one of the 16 coaches in the Supers.. only reason that we wouldn’t have fired Pierce already.

A&M has the resources to deal with it- we'll be just fine, but i see a real shift West in the SEC power base over the next few years, including maybe Arkansas.
