Hince why I’ve never liked this camera angle for bb. Just add the overhead video too.

Arkansas fans were desperate for LSU to be out of this tournament.

For obvious reasons.

From this side shot, looks too far outside the plate.

The strike zone was the same for both teams. You sound like a bitch.

Catcher was setup outside, so yes I would call it a strike

The ball can brush the plate with spin or movement, you have to defend home plate in big games.

Did you really just compare your 2-seed to our 4-seed to validate your argument that your regional was harder?

Our 2-seed had an RPI of 19
Our 4-seed was the hottest team on the planet. They score 46 runs this weekend.

They were consistent with those calls all night. It happened to Curiel several times.

Did you post the night before about how Blue fricked LSU all night long squeezing the zone forcing 11 walks?

If Luis had not been setup outside it wouldn’t even be a question.

It was called a strike but it obviously was not. Tough call for that kid. If it had been on an lsu batter for a game losing K, you know damn well what LSU fans would think about that call.

If I'd have been calling like that ump all game? Yes, I'd have called that a strike. His zone was his zone, and I thought he stayed fairly consistent throughout the game. Can't remember either coach chirping him over balls and strikes during the game so they let it go.

Do remember Ben McDonald saying once that a pitch hadn't been a strike all night, but it wasn't on that specific pitch.

so sensitive. Don't take anything I post seriously. This is the rant. We rag each other.
I know lsu is a better team than texas right now. So you can calm down.

I still think utsa is a better team than Texas. We'll find out when they go to ucla I guess.

Perhaps I just don't take this stuff as seriously as others. Losing sucks but it's just a game. No reason not to give props to a team than came to our home field and proved they were better. My hat's off to them.

I'll tell you like I've told all the little leaguers I've coached....Its a hitters game. If its close, bust it.

That’s why we love playing at The Box. We get all the calls there!
