I can type (and catch up on the "BOLers is W&L credible thread) while I nurse the baby.

Edited for clarification. I can nurse and read at the same time, thank the Lord, because this has been an entertaining week.

Okay, I understand all of the little events that come with the territory of having children, a career, and other priorities.
BUT...
You can spare 30 minutes of your day to relieve a little tension. Hell, I could do it in 5 if I had to.

I vaguely remember the launch of Sputnik I, President Eisenhower, and the Kennedy-Nixon presidential debate, yet vividly remember John F. Kennedy's assassination and witnessing Jack Ruby shoot Lee Harvey Oswald, live on television.

LOL, I love being the Voice of Womankind on here.
Yes, I could spare 30 minutes, though that's stretching my daily schedule. Five minues, yes, that too, and much easier acutally. The problem quite literally is scheduling those 30 to five minutes *together*. My free time doesn't always mesh with your free time. And when it does mesh (real life examples to follow) the baby poops so loud it wakes up your toddler who in turn is WIRED and will not go back to sleep OH until the sun is rising, the dude from the electric company stops by to install a new meter, or, I shite you not, an FBI agent with a NSC sidekick (who will only admit that he works 'for the defense department') knocks on your door and 'interviews' you because some sick-in-the-head mother f'er threatened a NYT reporter and cc'd all of creation, including an old email address that you haven't used in ten plus years.

Okay, but pretend that you and your husband go to bed together almost every night. Kids are way past the shitting-on-themselves phase. Nights are relatively quiet in your home. What changes at that point?
Thanks for helping me hijack this thread, btw.
