Lambert would never even get a pass off the way he falls down when pressure approaches.

I agree he is no good, but he probably does enough to beat Vandy.

Lol at Greyson Lambert

Lol at blaming Chubb

Lol at saying a patient QB will get you anything but sacked with our WRs and OL.

Just admit you have no clue what you are talking about.

Honestly I think we would have beaten vandy, but a much better chance of losing to UNC. It's whatever, if you look at the weight, numbers don't lie. We have the smallest line in the conference. It's all opinion after that, but numbers are numbers

I mean Smart is a first year HC so I think we would have performed better under Richt due to just more efficiency out of the offense.

Richt was a great coach. We consistently were a top 4 team in the SEC. In this conference I think there is alot of merit in that. We also consistently lost to elite teams in games with championships on the line.

Im willing to go through quite a bit of purgatory if we can get to the promised land. I know many UGA fans do not share this opinion. Time will tell.....

The stability Richt would have provided would be worth two wins. They would have been better. IMO

But, Smart might end up being a great HC.

Richt was a sucessful caoch for 15 years. He never got us to the next level but I do not think he would have lost to Vandy. Our O line is atrocious so who knows if playing Lambert over Eason would have made a difference.

I can't remember the last time that UGA was this inept across the board. I am enjoying it.

This board is obsessed with mark richt. Maybe UT or lsu can hire him since we made such a huge mistake firing him. Lmao.

worst O-line in Uga history

Look, Auburn has been in the dumps before recently so I am not trying to rub salt.

But, Auburn's D-line fixing to eat. Bigly.

You mean the guy who came from some little Louisiana school and promptly went back after last year? Gtfo.

Meh, probably would have been slightly more competent on O, similar on special teams and worse on D. Richt was never uber successful with freshman QBs and it was trending in a bad direction. 8-3 regular season with Green in his 1st year, 8-4 regular season with Stafford in his 6th year and 6-6 regular season with Murray in his 10th year. i doubt this season would have been much different than 2010 or much different than what it is currently.

I am just curious why Georgia fans think this is a rebuilding season. They have had an average top ten recruiting class for the last five years. The fact that UGA's new coach can't win with a stocked team doesn't bode well for his head coaching ability.

You just called this team stacked, your hook is a little shiny there.

It's not a stocked team at OL and WR.

That said taking 2 possible NFL caliber RBs and totally destroying their stock is likely going to end Chaney's career totally.

I said 7-5 at first, bought a little hype and predicted 8-4 eventually. The defense is talented, but young. The one senior starter is a grad transfer who got to a campus a week or two before the opener and likely wasn't going to start for Bama. They've played pretty well outside of OM.

New punter and new kicker. The kicking issue has been solved. Punting is still an adventure.

TRFr QB with inexperienced WRs lacking any semblance of playmaking ability. Less than 100% Chubb.

I thought the saving grace would be a decent OL, a steadily healing Chubb and an effective Michel. The OL, and as a result, the RBs have really been the only two units to perform worse than I anticipated. The OL is so much worse than I ever imagined. Their failure is the reason this team is looking at 5-7 or 6-6 rather than 8-4.

No. Their offensive line is probably the worst in the league. They have a true freshman QB. They have limited weapons at WRed. They are average on defense and doing about everything they could on that side. Not sure what exactly Mark Richt would pull out of this team that hadn't been already. I'd say he'd be more coherent on offense, but his OC last year was Lil Schottie, so...

This guy gets it. I think we will be find under Kirby if he can recruit better in the trenches. Objectively this was Richt's biggest weakness throughout most of his tenure.
