Would Georgia be any better with Richt at the helm this season?

It honestly could not get much worse. I mean I guess they had a decent win in the opener but damn they suck.

And I mean wow they suck. Richt's worst teams that I remember (2009, 2010) would probably wipe the floor with them

No. Their offensive line is probably the worst in the league. They have a true freshman QB. They have limited weapons at WRed. They are average on defense and doing about everything they could on that side.

Not sure what exactly Mark Richt would pull out of this team that hadn't been already. I'd say he'd be more coherent on offense, but his OC last year was Lil Schottie, so...

Their OL is unbelievably bad. How did it get that bad?

They wouldn't have Chaney so that would be a positive for Richt.

Absolutely. He would have a better O-Line coach. Offensive line was never an issue under Richt.

Better than Pittman? No he wouldn't The raw materials on that line are garbage and would be if Richt was there.

They might have another win or so. Richt would probably not stick with Eason so I could see them beating Vandy and maybe UT with Richt. That would only mask the issues and I think the experience Eason is getting will benefit UGA in the future.

Even if Richt was kept, he would have been told the rest of your coaching staff will not be retained.

About half of Georgia's problems are off of the field. It was either fire Pruitt (before Schottenheimer, and yes it's because of off the field incidents) or everyone goes for Georgia...and it was the latter.

If Richt is here, Georgia is 5-3 at the most and still gets blown out by Ole Miss.

He thinks Eason has been a problem. One of y'all's guys said that Eason is so bad at managing a huddle that he cost Georgia the Vandy game on his own.

Do the UGA fans even post anymore?

I believe FL put the final blow on them yesterday.

No, we were actually more competitive against Florida this year than last year. If anything, Richt should have been let go for allowing the offensive line to get this bad.

Richt would have inserted Greyson Lambert way back when. Eason is ok but he is very erratic. He doesn't have the patience to check down. He reminds of Rex Grossman in that he's gonna bomb it out before anything. Rex had good talent around him but even then it cost Florida some games.

Need a QB with patience. I'm shocked Lambert isn't starting. Chubb, as I tried to tell everybody, is not the back folks believe his is. He's good but he's not gonna carry a team. He built up stats against nobodies. The vision isnt there. Reminds me of Garrison Hurst. Ok back but pretty over rated.

Why would Lambert start? Playing him does nothing for us next year. The season is lost anyways. Eason can't throw well because he is running for his life and can't get his feet set. Chubb is struggling because of that injury and the worst O-line in Uga history.

Yes they beat Vandy and maybe UT. I just think Richt pulls Eason and while none of the other QBs will beat good SEC teams, I think they would be good enough to to pull out the Vandy game and possibly UT. It wouldn't mean UGA is any better a team than they are now and I think sticking with Eason benefits UGA moving forward next season.

Lambert would never even get a pass off the way he falls down when pressure approaches.
