Can you imagine a career military man like General Neyland dealing with today's undisciplined, disrepectful thugs?

He would be licking his chops at the talent though...

Still better than Arkansas’ coach.

How many wins are they getting in the next 10 years?

If Bear Bryant came back from the dead then no

But a football mind like his who knows what he’s getting into, absolutely

Well all three are hall of fame coaches and one is a glorified interim coach.

Football mind that isn’t from that era of “boomer” mentality/age, maybe.

I mean this as a hardass coach of any era will find a way. The greats are the ones that adapt.

I think it’s obvious now that there aren’t many coaches that know how to tackle today’s CFB. And the ones that could in the pre NIL world are leaving.

How many “can’t miss” coaches are out there? I used to remember there were 4-5 guys every year. Now, who knows?

Or high school.

The entitled BS extends all the way into High School. If a coach even yells at a kid he could be fired or at least warned. Parents don't want their precious meal ticket feelings to be hurt by some lowly school employee. (I've been a HS teacher and coach for over 30 years).

It's way worse in basketball!
