I don’t understand how so many are obsessed with Clemson’s schedule. If they go undefeated they are in.
I doubt there will be more than two undefeated teams by the time the committee selects the four teams. Likely only one.

A 13-0 major conference champion is getting in 100% of the time no matter how shite their schedule is. The only way one ever gets left out is the bizarre scenario where all 5 major conferences produce an undefeated champion (impossible this year as the PAC12 has already all lost), plus that scenario has NEVER happened in my lifetime.
While you can argue past years shouldn't matter, they kinda do. Clemson has built up credibility by actually winning big playoff games the past few years.
