Hands down, Arkansas in Little Rock. Shitty stadium. Shitty fans. Cold and rainy. Fights breaking out all over the golf course surrounding War Memorial after the game. Turrible

Little Rock used to be our ace in the hole. It was, if not the rowdiest, at least one of the rowdiest stadiums in the country. A good kind of rowdy crowd.

Now... not so much. The stadium is in dire shape (everyone's favorite in game event: count the injuries caused by the lousy turf) and the fans are not exactly the best. Not to mention that attendance has hovered around Sun Belt levels.

I will second some of the comments people have made about Gainesville. The fans were great but the police seemed to think they were guarding prisoners of war. Its a shame because, like I said, the Florida fans were very polite and welcoming.

Baton Rouge has to be my favorite away game experience. Great people and the "tiger bait" calls are usually followed up by offers of copious amounts of free food and booze. Baton Rouge itself is a bit iffy in places but the stadium and fans are first class.

I haven’t been to many away games but I loved going to Knoxville and Oxford.

I’d love to go to Athens or Columbia, SC or Nashville for a game.

Been to almost all venues. Florida wasn't bad at all tailgated with some Gators. Had a jackass get in my face after the game the Gators won. Not bad. Just some rowdy jackass. That is it. If you act normal at the venues you will not have problems.

I've only been to 4 away venues...Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU, and South Carolina.

LSU was the worst. I wouldn't go back and would recommend anyone asking not to go there, especially if you have kids with you. The horror stories out of Baton Rouge for visiting fans are never ending.

The fans of South Carolina surprisingly were a little bit shitty. It's an odd vibe there. I'll say this, the older folks in Columbia were inviting and good folks like I would expect. The younger crowd? Like say mid 30s and younger have a strong Ohio St/northeast yankee type vibe to them. I would say it's safe to say the carpetbaggers have taken over Columbia. Another thing I found odd was their campus is quite the distance from their football stadium. That sucks.

Even going out downtown there is an ODD culture. Take Baton Rouge...its just the dirty south...fans are dicks to opposing fans etc..stuff you would expect. Columbia SC is a weird culture, you go out downtown there and it's like you are in a downtown coastal Massachusetts city. I didn't expect that.

Oxford and Auburn I had zero animosity and everything was cool.

UF fans Gatorbait opposing fans...what’s to freak out about

This past season I was telling the LSU fans they needed to taunt more, they weren't yelling loud enough. They loved it.

All three would be good destinations. I would make the trip the Athens at least once because it is one of the best college towns out there.

Yeah. . . none of this happened. I've been attending UGA games for 20+ years and have rarely seen a UGA fan bark in someone's face. They may bark as you're walking on the sidewalk and 20 feet away but I've never seen them get in someone's face.

My best experiences have been in Oxford and my worst two experiences have been in Oxford.

It really depends on how Ole Miss is doing that year. When they are absolute dogshit (2010) their fans are horrible. When they are a surprising contender (2014) their fans are obnoxious, entitled, and take their Ls almost as bad as Alabama fans.

Everything in between and they are fantastic hosts and possibly the best road trip in the conference.

Baton Rouge. Having a fat drunk redneck LSU fan scream Tiger Bait in the face of your daughter was enough to make me never go back with my kids. Everywhere else Ive been has been fine. TAMU fans were too nice, not a bad experience just weird. Oh I did have an auburn fan refuse to sell me an extra ticket, like he was holding them up and I asked how much and he said "not for sale." I was a little offended at first but later admired his dedication

most SEC schools are in shitholes.
That's why you don't leave the areas that are closest to campus.

I'll always hate the fact we don't have an on-campus stadium. I know it's not really feasible but damn it'd be nice. Also, if our campus wasn't so damn spread out. But I get it..

UGA 2007, younger fans just talked shite the entire time we were there. Made me sad that UGA fans aren’t what they used to be, but as Atlanta has filled with northern transplants so has UGA so the poor manners go with the territory.

LSU fans were chatty in 2005 but it was expected. On the other hand, had a great experience at LSU (other than the outcome) in 2007.

None of this is a big deal, nobody tried to fight us or spit on us, just low class behavior at UGA.

I think LSU fans have grown out of it as they have become more accustomed to success (whereas back in early 2000s when the AU LSU rivalry was red hot, LSU was just coming out of the 90s and feeling their oats a bit)

Athens, Auburn, Oxford being in the minority.

I'd even include Starkville as not being a shithole. It is just in the middle of nowhere.

That's a common thing in Baton Rouge. Definitely hate that town and all the redneck trash that swarm it on weekends. Also, not a fan of Gainesville - nothing there at all.

I think after the last few experiences I'm done attending away games pretty much anywhere at this point - it's just not for me. I'm frequently invited by clients, but I'm going to start saying no thanks. I'd rather be home with my wife than dealing with that kind of shite anymore.

Though I have to say the NFL games are even worse ...
