And you're keyboard pussy.

Russell was a bigger bust because of the money and in a no win franchise. But Johnny Football had more skills and sucked. You have your opinion, I have mine.

Now frick you and goodbye bitch.

regardless of going #22. The failure was still a first round pick... yes?

You really aren’t able to differentiate between a #1 pick and a 1st round pick are you?

Well it isn't anyone from Bama. They've only had one in the past 50 years and he sucks, but isn't the worst.

Jamarcus went to the worst run team in the nfl. It's him. Doomed to fail

Jamarcus would have failed if he was drafted by the '80s San Francisco 49ers. He was a fat, worthless moron.

Yeah, the guy who was barely 5'11" with a weaker arm was better suited for NFL success.

Your opinion is Goddamn retarded.

For reference, only one player in NFL history has made the Hall of Fame being drafted #22 overall. Fourteen #1 overall picks have made the Hall of Fame.

But Manziel is a bigger bust than Russell.

fricking idiot.

I cannot stress enough how badly the raiders were ran in the early 2000s. Jroc still would be a bust but being in that organization fast tracked it

Not #1 overall but Titans have loved some horrible first round SEC guys recently with Isaiah Wilson and Treylon Burks. Wilson one of the biggest disaster of a picks I can recall.

1986 - Bo Jackson

One could also argue that Bo was also the best draft pick in 1987 as the 183rd overall pick.

This is actually a super clever argument

Rusell is 100 percent easily considered by every NFL pundit as being the worst bust of all time.

He was the guy that the Raiders sent tapes home with him one weekend and when asked by the coaches if he understood the new packages on the tapes, he told them yes. The tapes were blank.

Tim Couch should have went to Tennessee instead of Kentucky. The shadow of Peyton Manning convinced him otherwise, plus he went to the horrible team called the Cleveland Browns. JaMarcus stands alone as the worst bust.

I really think some of you LSU guys are special needs kids. The topic was about #1 SEC draft picks. Russell had all the tools to be great. But had no education. Just gold chains and entitlement.

Jamarcus Russell would take 3 lifetimes to rise to Tommy Lewis level of football player.

Was blow even a thing in the 1950s?

I always forget about Couch but Jamarcus just did it to himself by not putting in the effort. Super talented but when you get to the league everyone is . It’s amazing if either one went to a more stable franchise are we still involving them in this conversation ?
