I think the behavior of LSU fans gets way overplayed. I've been to games in Baton Rouge many times, and never had one problem. Yet, I've been harassed and threatened at Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Auburn fans during the Bama games are fairly angry people even when they were kicking our arse. I've gone to games when they're playing ARK or somebody and it's a totally different environment. Some people just really despise others based on schools. I know we have the same...

Worst fans are FSU. That game in Jacksonville was the worst display of fandom I've ever witnessed.

+1. I know I'm an LSU fan but I have walked around all of campus on gamedays with people who are fans of the opposing team and have had no problems. I usually see other fans chilling at tailgates talking football, throwing the football with each other, and just having a good time. Maybe people try to start shite with drunk people because they take the phrase "tiger bait" a little too personal. That's the worst I've seen.

'04 in Auburn. We had just lost by 1 point and some guy got in my face and was taunting me, saying "whatcha got now, huh, you ain't got nothing," and so on. So I answered him, we have a BCS trophy, what do you have? Well, needless to say, he went ballistic!

Oh yeah, Auburn in '04 was terrible. We had shite talked to us by an old guy and his wife on the shuttle bus to the game. He started out friendly for all of 2 seconds then went on about how much of shite hole Baton Rouge and Tiger Stadium is. And how dirty the whole place is and how he hates going there yet he told us that he goes every year. We couldn't even respond to him because our fricking parents taught us to respect our elders and this couple already had one foot in the grave PLUS they were Auburn fans. We figured we'd just let them continue to be miserable people.

The Arkansas game in 2002 was the so terrible. We choke the game in the final two minutes, the so called "Miracle at Markham" We go back to the car and try to get the hell out of that place but of course our dumbass friend left the lights on in the car. We are parked in between two Arkansas fans cars so it was physically impossible to jump the car because they are out drinking and looking for cattle to give some felatio to. We sat there and got soueed for over three hours before one of the guys moved their cars and then had to drive all the way back to Baton Rouge. Absolutely hell.

All fanbases have assholes. I ran into a bunch of LSU ones before the game last year, though they were quieter afterwards. Same with Tenn. fans the year before that. Everyone has bad apples.

My worst experience was at the 07 WLOCP because of the game and the numerous a-hole Dawg fans I ran into afterwards. Had this car full of drunk girls start talking shite as I was walking from the stadium after the game that really pissed me off. I mean, who here would want to put up with drunk girls talking shite.

Though I did get some satisfaction as they were obviously not paying attention and drove into some dead-end near the jail and couldn't back out because there were about 1000 cars lined up and no one was letting them out. That cheered me up a bit.

If true, how do you know it was LSU fans? Did they carve LSU into the tires? And what is it with Auburn and tales of tire slashing? All of a sudden LSU fans are switchblade-carrying hoodlums from West Side Story. For some reason the tallest tales of LSU fans always come out of Auburn.

Only problem I've had at an SEC home stadium was in Athens at the UGA/Auburn game in I think it was 2003 - the year Auburn stopped UGA on the goal line as time ran out. We were sitting in the endzone closest to the UGA student section and I had a couple of a-hole dawg fans talking shite and then acting like they wanted to fight when I started talking it back to them.

At the 1997 SECCG, Auburn was leading Savior Manning and the Vols and I was up cheering, waving my shaker, etc. A Viles fan sitting a few seats away comes over to me and threatens to shove the shaker up my arse. I think worse than that for that game, there was a lady sitting about 10 rows in front of us dressed in her glorious orange and white. The whole time Tenn was losing she was cussing and yelling and slapping on this kid there with her (the kid was maybe 11 or 12). The Vols score late in the game and win and she was all "I knew we were gonna win, there was never any doubt" etc.

LSU fans are getting worse - they definitely have a lunatic element. I was partying with friends in Auburn, AL. LSU fans slashed the tires of about 10 vehicles right next to their apartment complex.

So Car was a pretty bad one last year. The fans there are dumb and cruel. At the begginning of the game they had a guy throwing AA batteries and pennies at the student section...got hit in the back with a battery. Then their fans started doing the Gator Chomp....really? When is the last time they beat Florida...but of course it was satisfying seeing them lose 56-6 just a few weeks later.

Florida was a pretty bad one last year too. Not the fans, the security. They made the LSU student section step down from standing on the bleachers when EVERYONE in the ENTIRE stadium was standing on them. Then they proceeded to start tackling people off of the bleachers for anyone who protest and also took this drunk girl to the ground in front of me bc she yelled at them. And I thought the LSU marshalls were bad!

They did that crap with the UF students too, even removed a couple people. UFPD are dicks and seriously screw up the atmosphere on Saturdays.

Dude; not confirming or denying anything; but nobody here is going to have a link to their stories.

And I have had some rough experiences with LSU fans myself. I don't know about tires being slashed; but definitely some drunk teenagers wanting to start a fight after the LSU-Auburn game in 2006. The only thing to do in that situation is to walk away.

And yes, I realize every fanbase has those types of fans.
