On the flipside of that Kentucky Basketball has won 8 NCs through multiple coaches. Joe B. Hall succeeded Rupp and won a NC himself.

Alabama has dealt with a massive opening after a legendary coach (Bryant). There'll be a drop off but they'll be fine.

Bama is going to take a massive step back once Saban hangs it up. How could they not? They won't be able to recruit just off a name alone anymore. Probably will get a great coach. But it's not going to be Dabo.

So you don't have a problem putting Nebraska ahead of Alabama as far of football programs since they have more all time wins?

Worst...just stop

I'll worry bout that when it comes. Enjoying right now too much...or is Saban heading to Texas again?

Seriously, We ARE college football right now as we have been before. It's cool. I know LSU fans have been waiting on his retirement since he came here but we don't think too much about it.

Biggest point- did miles ever REALLY replace Saban? Was Saban totally forgotten and miles had everybody totally bought in behind him with no mention of Saban again? Don't give a national title bullshite story, did u ever really forget Saban?

They hired some guy by the name of Jimmy Johnson to replace him. I believe that ended up working out pretty well for them.

Only problem is that his record sucked the first few years. He only coached at Dallas 5 years and his first two were records of 1-15 and 7-9. Don't think Bama fans would have the patience for that.

Dabo is fambly we will be patient. ... although I doubt we will need to be. .... when the job opens, it will be a great opportunity for a coach to come in and win a National Championship within a year or two.... how often do those opportunities come up

More regular season titles and final fours in basketball, not to mention one of the all time best centers ever to play the game in Shaq.

More baseball conference and national championships.

Try again tomorrow. Sleep well in your trailer tonight

I remember when they forced The Bear to retire thus killing him .... I suspect they'll somehow kill the midget as well.

Clemson has all the resources to keep Dabo where he is as long as they want him. He gains nothing by leaving. It's the same how Jimbo is never going to leave for LSU.
Also I don't see Saban leaving the cupboard full for the next guy.

Why would you say that? I think he'll leave them in pretty damn good shape talent-wise for whoever does decide to follow him.
