Gene Chizik at Auburn was an awful hire at the time. He was 5-19 at Iowa State when he got the call.

Holtz hiring was 20 years ago, so Brad Scott was before that

I’d say Zook at UF was bad

Chip chose UCLA over Florida. He wanted to stay on the left coast.

Florida would have picked Kelly over Mullen if they had the option.

May have been a good fit here, who knows. But obvious he isn't getting it done out west.

All I could think about was that offense with our speed

Oh well

Jim Mcelwain. Muschamp left him with a loaded defense and Will Grier on offense and he shite the bed.

I mean look at those fricking teeth. Why the frick would Foley hire somebody who doesn't even brush their teeth? Can you imagine this guy walking into a recruits living room and trying to sell them on the program? Good God, what an awful hire.

Lot of hearsay over that whole deal from both sides. We'll never know

It was pretty terrifying.

Can’t believe how bad he’s been at UCLA

Greg Robinson at Syracuse deserves a shout for winning 3 conference games in 4 years.

That was a respectable program, and they consistently made bowls for years, until he nuked it.

That was an average hire, certainly not even in the conversation for worst of the last 20 years. He had turned the Colorado State program around, and he won the Eastern division of the SEC in consecutive years prior to being fired at UF.

Chip Kelly has also let himself go physically. He looks pitiful. A shell of his former self. Kinda sad.
