This goes back to 1999. Who do you have?

I say Charlie Strong at Texas and Richrod at Michigan are both extremely high. As is the guy who went 0-12 in his lone season at Southern Mississippi.

Also worth mentioning is Mike Locksley at New Mexico (3-33). Somehow he’s now the Maryland coach.

Oh, yes, and how did I forget to mention Ed Oregon’s tenure at Ole Miss.

If they’re not careful, a lot of the 2nd year coaches I mention here will join the list. LINK /

I guess Orgeron since he’s not won a title?

LSU has been extremely fortunate to have only had three hires since 1999. Saban, Miles, Orgeron.

Joe Moorhead. Took a 10 win team to averaging 3 points per loss(5)in 2018 and made MSU the worst P5 team in the country in 2019 and it's only getting worse

Well he was a pretty bad hire for Ole Miss.

That's just the truth, not a troll.

O is a good example of how a change of location can equal more success.

Willie Taggart at FSU is up there.

I still can't wrap my head around that. Oregon was 7-5 when he was hired by FSU

Willie Taggart at FSU and Dan Mullen at Florida seemed to be like a cripple fight between schools to see who could make the laziest hire.

Taggart has won more than 8 games once in his career. Amazing.

I can’t wrap my head around how he inherited top 5 classes, and is struggling to beat Sanford and La Monroe with them.

Lucky for us it was a very good one when you look at the other coaches that were in consideration then who are getting their asses handed to them now.

Feels like Taggart at FSU might belong on this list.

Callahan at Nebraska.

Basically anyone Notre Dame hired between Holtz and Kelly.

Dooley and Jones at UT.

Price at Alabama. Wouldn’t have been a good fit even if he hadn’t been fired.

Chip Kelly was the first choice.

The Gaytors really dodged a bullet with him.

Charlie Weis at Kansas is another candidate. He left 39 scholarship players.
