I have no problem with OU and OU St joining the SEC.
I was for adding ATM and Missouri. The aggies are weirdos and Missouri is just sort of there, but neither team has caused a conference problem. I would consider both good additions as far as market share goes with no real draw back IRL.
Texas is a big no with their take a bigger cut of the pie and I want my own network where I also wont share attitude.
The SEC is about equal playing field.

1. OU would add no real $$$ to the SEC which is the only reason to expand. The OK Legislature has already gone on record that OK State and OU must stay in the same conference.
2. Aggies have higher TV ratings for their sports in Texas than UT has. Adding UT brings us no additional $$$ so no deal.
3. IF we expend, it must be to schools in states that are populous and not already represented by a current SEC team. North Carolina and Virginia are the best bets.

Yes, it would be awesome listening to Texas fans constantly talk about how they have the most money in college football and how they can buy anything they want
Already have a team from Texas that says this.

They are saying in 5 years or so, they would like to join the SEC for our new TV contract money from Disney. They also said that Texas is bringing down the Big Twelve and hurting their brand and recruiting. A smug Texas poster said that if Texas wants in the SEC, Texas will be in the SEC!!! I guess Texas A&M will not get a vote to approve Texas joining the SEC??? They were asked, they said no - Ship has sailed...
Lucky because Texas would have brought down the SEC!

I don’t want any new teams in the SEC unless it’s to replace Missouri.
I’d like to see Missouri and Nebraska return to the Big 12.
For the health of the game, I want other conferences to stay strong.

I guess you don't get it why other former Big12 left? Texas! Texas is the main reason for the fall of the Big12! Missouri will never go back to the Big12 even if Texas left. It is too weak of a conference.

So they want their asses beat on the regular like last night? Bring it. In actuality, we will have super conferences in 5 yrs.

TV. market! That does not make sense! That is why Missouri got in! OU bring nothing from TV. market! That's where the money comes in to pay for each school. Once again do the math. Conference in the Big 12 is finish as a power 5 conference because it does not have enough TV. market and too many school in Texas that does not help and others have no or very little TV. market to support the conference.

You are out of your ever loving mind.

How many OU fans are there in the world?......lots.
How many of them currently have the SECN? I would bet money there are trailer parks in the south that have more people getting the SECN than the entire State of Okl.
How many would have it if OU joined the SEC?

Like hell that isn't how it works.

So you think the SEC just gets a random $$$ amount no matter how many people subscribe to the SECN?

Missouri didn't join without a lot to offer like sports teams and other businesses in the area that help support SEC. Why many say Big 12 will collapsed in the future? Look where the teams are and it is way lopsided and few population and fewer TV. market.
