I think only 10 sacks is being generous. Alabama would get 15-20 against Miami's OL.

UGA probably a similar number.

Until they win, no they aren't.

You can't forget the "last second heroics" because it has resulted in 2 trophies residing in Tuscaloosa. History won't remember how close UGA was.

Good moral victory there.
WTF

No moral victories, but both teams will most likely be in Atlanta again this December again with a spot in playoffs in the line. Maybe 3rd times a charm? While I see some Florida fans think you will beat UGA after getting beat 19 last season and being vastly inferiority talent. But you played it close for 3 quarters. Nice showing tonight btw.

LOL at UGA putting itself in the company of Bama

They may best Bama twice next year. Major turnover and tougher schedule

If they don't, a NC may never happen again for them

Georgia is near the same class as Bama. True Georgia has played Bama tough the last couple of games but they still don’t have the championships that Alabama has consistently won. In fact the closest any program is to Bama is Clemson and they are a notch off, still.

Georgia is about 2-3 tds better than Miami on their best day. Alabama is 4-5 tds better.

Nice showing the last 39 years.

UGA would be up 24-3 in the 1st half...coast through 2nd half with a final score being 36-17

Bama would be up 44-0 in the 1st half...coast through 2nd half with a final score being 65-3

I don’t care how close the games were, bud. You can’t claim to be in the same company when you still haven’t won a title since 1980 and you haven’t beaten the team your comparing yours to since 2007.

Win something first. Then run your mouth.

You trailer dwellers are insufferable, your own coach says UGA and the UA are in the same class.

Did Miami even send an online on the field? That’s why they lost the game at the end with 100 chances. That was pathetic

Better than putting Georgia in the company of Auburn.

This is closer to the truth. Historically we are nowhere close to Alabama.
From a single year/team perspective maybe close, but not there until we can manage to actually beat them.

I understand you not being happy until UGA beats Bama. He wasn't speaking of historically, he was just speaking of this year. UGA is close to Bama in talent according to recruiting rankings, and the last two games have been close. So he is making a good point.
