They might pick OKC as they have a big rowing district close to downtown and other venues. The 2028 Olympics white water rafting will be in OKC as well

Plans are progressing for new I-35 suspension bridges over the OK River. The clear span would allow for international rowing competitions.

Would include a pedestrian bridge, one of 4 planned over the river.

I don't know what it is called, but personally this is my favorite rowing event. These jokers can get it!

OKC is not getting rowing for the Olympics. They are getting white water kayaking. Long Beach (site of '32 rowing events) is going to host rowing.

That being said, OKC does have a world class boathouse and set up for rowing...

Rowing News Rankings of top 10 Rowing Venues in North America:

1. Nathan Benedrson Park, FL
2. The Montlake Cut, WA
3. Lake Natoma, CA
4. Oak Ridge, TN
5. St. Caeharines/Port Dalhousie, Ontario, Canada
6. Charles River, MA
7. Scuylkill River, PA
8. Cooper River, NJ
9. Tennessee River - Knoxville, TN
10. Saratoga Springs, NY

So...two of these venues (#4 & 9) are within 30 minutes of each other near an SEC school that actually has a Women's Rowing team (as opposed to #1 Florida). That being said, the OKC venue looks pretty cool.

ETA...that being said, the 2028 Olympic Rowing will be at Marine Stadium in Long Beach, CA.

Yes, because there’s no need. You know I drink in moderation! I’m glad I could give you peace of mind though.

All women's sports should be cancelled unless they proves they can cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner by themselves........Sports fade, a woman's place in the kitchen is forever.

We've had it for a little while now, but due to gayness in the SEC they'll probably have to compete in the Big10 or 12.

So the number 1 rowing place in North America is in Florida, huh?

Gator says thanks for digging me a new hole to swim in.
