Hopefully Florida and Texas Tech win and send Tennessee and Old Piss home.

Flarda is about to get sent packing without scoring a run.

I think Tennessee goes home today. It’s hard to get motivated after what happened yesterday.

Yeah that was brutal, but I don't know if it is worse than to just get completely shut down like UF did. Unless y'all come out with a hangover UT will move on. I just don't see us scoring off of Pickens. Hopefully both teams will have some offense and it will be a competitive game. Nothing wrong with a pitcher's duel, but it just isn't as much fun to watch.

Agreed. I do love a great defensive play. I just wish I could appreciate a soccer score in softball more than I do. I get bored like a 4-year-old.

Hoping for lots of offensive action tonight. Multiple definitions of "offensive" will work.

Thanks for the thread!

I'm not positive she will start.

I predicted this several weeks ago. Rothrock got destroyed again by Texas, and Florida's offense once again disappeared when it mattered.

Hate saying this.. but OU fans called it - they said UF would choke when it matters, and right on schedule it happened.

Its really OU's world, and everyone is just fighting for 2nd.

Sorry to backtrack and my apologies if already posted, but the obstruction rule has got to change.

Fortunately, justice was served and UCLA won the game in the bottom of the seventh on a walk-off homer. But the way Oregon tied it in the top half of the inning by obstruction at home plate is ridiculous.

I'm all for an obstruction rule, but when it has nothing to do with the outcome of the play, how is it obstruction?

Skip to the 22:00 mark and tell me how this is obstruction when the catcher is there waiting on the runner to arrive so she can tag her out.

The way we lost made me feel like I was watching the Dooley, Butch, etc.era of football all over again. We always found the most unique ways to lose.

Even though we dominated all game you kinda felt it was coming. Oklahoma just doesn’t go down.

They had fans crying in the stands and then we gave them hope when we struck out with the bases loaded. I knew then we were fricked.

I'm not so sure, the youth, inexperience, and lack of consistent pitching behind Landry still makes me think OU is vulnerable. I will say, this is the year to get them.

I didn't see crying fans, but when they got that double play in the top of the 7th, and the top of the lineup coming up, I could see it coming. They had come close to putting runs up in almost every inning but couldn't get the clutch hit.

There's not a sports team out there that has more pressure to win than the OU softball ladies. It's a lot of pressure to win 5 in a row. If they don't they feel like they will be looked at as failures. In reality they have played way over their heads. 16 new players!
