It’s what college football was meant to be.

Only game in the country that’s been a top 10 matchup for 3 consecutive years now, right?

Premier rivalry in college football. Hope we get ours this year.

Wow. I didn't realize that. It is a great rivalry, though. I think it ranks up there with Alabama/Auburn, Ohio State/Michigan, USC/Notre Dame and Alabama/LSU. Seems like both teams are usually very good, and there isn't a whole lot of love lost between the programs.

It's one of my favorites of the year.

What makes it better is the neutral field and 50/50 split of the fans. Only OU/UT can match that. That game has lost some luster over the years

It means nothing to others - just y’all. Besides the winner of the last few have choked violently on the national stage. So, the rest of the country yawns at y’all’s little party.

You are entitled to your opinion, of course...but what do you consider the National Stage? I mean, only one has played for a National Championship of late, so I have to think you are talking about Playoffs and SECCG? And we beat Auburn in the SECCG and Oklahoma in the playoffs, so I think you are overstating things by a lot.

I mean. I get it. You troll. That's your thing. But it seems like Alabama has choked on the National stage lately, too.
Or maybe you have forgotten that butt kicking Clemson gave you and LSU handing you your head last year? You had better hope you win it all this year, or I will come looking for you to remind you of your team "choking on the national stage."

Maybe, but the rest of the country doesn't even watch the TSIO. Most overrated rivalry game ever.

Iron Bowl
LSU-Bama
Georgia Auburn

These three games are bigger every year. Look at views. I still think fan base wise, LSU vs Alabama is the biggest overall in the south. There’s fans of these teams sprinkled throughout the south bringing massive attention no matter what the rankings are.

I honestly wish they would go to home/away games. Full capacity crowds at Ben Hill Griffin and Sanford stadiums would add more to the rivalry in my opinion. Not a fan of the 50/50 neutral site split.

Not on my radar and overwhelmingly majority of college football fans. Both schools are average and have already under performed in big games. Nothing to see here.

It’s simple. You have “little man” syndrome. You really want to be relevant but each time you had the opportunity (aka 40 years) you choked.

Step away from the computer and relax.

Oh well. If its not on your radar, then that settles it.

But not Alabama, right?

46-41 didn't happen, did it?
48-45 didn't happen, either.
And we all know 22-16 didn't happen.

Crap. Maybe your team should try to beat your biggest rival before you come on here pointing fingers at other teams? Gus is turning into the Alabama killer.

Gus Malzahn!

Irony. Your coach is 5'2" tall.

Two years ago it was Auburn.
