Some playoff contender will trade into that spot and take Clowney. He could be a "once a decade" difference maker.

Clowney will not be the #1 pick. He takes off too many plays and was easily dominated by the makeshift LSU offensive line. He will be top 5 if he doesn't get hurt.

the only way it doesn't happen is if there's a franchise QB available and I honestly don't see one out there. I agree that he doesn't always go all out but remember that NFL teams draft based on potential and Clowney is a once in a generation type talent.
