It's a picture of Lowrents, Kansas being burned by William Quantrill . That shirt triggered many jimmies of Beakers around the Country and politicians from that state.

The wounds from that era are real stil to this day.
Don't think there is a rivalry in all of sports that match the kU Mizzou rivalry. We raped and killed each other on that Missouri/Kansas border for too long during that conflict.

Funny but why does it say scoreboard? Kansas won the Border War because Kansas was admitted into the Union as a free state.

Maybe the people hate each other more, but the teams have to not completely suck every year for it to be an interesting rivalry.

The sold out Sprint Center in KC for an exhibition basketball game...the hate is insane. True story, I know dozens of guys who won’t spend a cent in kansas, They fill up with gas before entering the state. Another was offered a massive promotion that would have taken him just across the state line to Olathe and HE TURNED IT DOWN BECAUSE HIS CONSCIENCE WOULD NOT LET HIM WORK IN kansas!

Sounds really stupid to me.
