Going to Spokane is a long trip, but I remember last year thinking #1 Houston got screwed by having to play us in Birmingham. They won anyways, but that doesn’t change the fact they were at a disadvantage.
Plus, it’s also a long trip for Yale, UAB and SDSU. So, there’s really no disadvantage there.

I think AU is the best team in the region besides UConn. So we have to play them in the Sweet 16 if we make it there instead of the elite 8. So be it. No use in crying about it. Hopefully it adds another chip to the shoulder of the players and becomes a benefit for AU that they got “disrespected” by the committee.
