The SEC probably had the 5-6 best teams in the country that year.

Alabama 11-1
UGA was 11-1 (Waxed by USCe)
LSU was 10-2 (Beckham fumbled inside the florida 30 to choke it away & Yeldon screen pass loss)
Aggie was 10-2 (Beat Bama)
Florida was 11-1
USCe was 10-2

All 6 of those teams would have destroyed ND.

Side note: LSU dicking around and losing to Clemson is likely what jump started their dynasty

2012 was probably our best team ever. It sucked how Georgia and Florida were insanely good that year as well

We held Florida to like 180 yards. Too bad we had 4 turnovers

- Alec Ogletree
- Shawn Williams
- Bacarri Rambo

LSU
- La'el Collins
- Trai Turner
- Jeremy Hill
- Spencer Ware
- Odell Beckham Jr
- Russell Shepard
- Jarvis Landry
- Barkevious Mingo
- Bennie Logan
- Kwon Alexander
- Kevin Minter
- Jalen Mills
- Eric Reid
- Brad Wing

Texas A&M
- Luke Joeckel
- Cedric Ogbuehi
- Jake Matthews
- Johnny Manziel
- Christine Michael
- Mike Evans
- Deshazor Everett

Florida
- Mike Gillislee
- Trey Burton
- Jordan Reed
- Chaz Green
- Dominique Easley
- Sharrif Floyd
- Dante Fowler Jr
- Jon Bostic
- Jelani Jenkins
- Matt Elam
- Brian Poole
- Caleb Sturgis

South Carolina
- AJ Cann
- Brandon Shell
- Mike Davis
- Bruce Ellington

- Devonte Holloman
- DJ Swearinger

And that doesn't include great college players who haven't done much in the NFL like AJ McCarron, Barrett Jones, Zach Mettenberger, Aaron Murray, Connor Shaw, Ryan Swope, etc.

Just all-time great talent on those top teams.

That definitely shows how strong the SEC West was in 2010. It’s never weak, but it was unpredictably strong that year. When the next to last team goes 9-4 and pounds Michigan in the bowl game, it was a good season.

We basically spotted y'all 14 or more points right out the gate. Yall's D was salty that year and we couldn't recover.

I think our 2011 team was more talented. Had all those guys mentioned plus Melvin Ingram, Stephon Gilmore, healthy for half season Lattimore, and Alshon Jeffery
