Not if he continues to play like he did last night. He looked as if he had a serious regression from last season, especially considering GA Tech has one of the worst pass defenses in college football.

Early in the season a lot of offenses aren't near the level as they are at the end.
The 2016 National Champion Clemson team only scored 19 points against Auburn in the season opener. In the Championship against Alabama, they scored 35. And that bama defense was considered one of the best of all time before it got shredded.
The 2018 Clemson team only scored 28 against A&M in week 2 but went and put up 44 against Alabama (and it could've been 51 had they not taken a knee at the end).

He'll go 39-0 reg season/ACC champ gm against that schedule. Which means they are a default playoff team every year. And having nothing to point too except 2 playoff games yr means they have a running start on those as well. Cruise for 13 and prepare all year for 2. Hell of a deal.
