Actually, nobody cares about college football except SEC country (incl Clemson), Texas/Oklahoma and maybe two or three Big10 programs + Notre Dame. Generally, Basketball is way more popular nationwide. Basketball also has more potential and growth upside…incl global markets.

It's a shame how one-sided the series has been for awhile now. Growing up it was neck and neck. That 2006 game changed everything though.
It reminds me of Florida's mastery over us in a lot of ways. Even in years we had (supposedly) better teams Florida always managed to beat us. It's that way with us an Auburn now. Even in years in which they have had the better teams something happens and we end up winning.
There is no explanation how football works out sometimes.

Sinkwich won the Heisman and GA won the Rose Bowl which was the de facto NC game then. 1942 NC banners hung in Woodruff Hall and then at the stegosaurus. It wasn’t claimed 40 years later.
